Briefing on Construction Products Directive

The Construction Industry Federation (CIF) will hold a breakfast briefing on the Construction Products Directive, 305/2011/EU Update, on Tuesday the 26th of August at Construction House. This is a free CIF event and open to all CIF members.

The briefing will be introduced by CIF’s Director General Tom Parlon and the speakers will be Keith Pheasey of ARC Management systems and John Wickham, who is a Senior Advisor with the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government.

The following topics will be covered at the briefing –

  • EN-1090/1 Requirement for Conformity Assessment for Structural Components
  • Factory Production Control Certificates
  • Welding Certificates
  • Declaration of Performance
  • What Contractors Need to Know
  • What Manufacturers, Subcontractors and Suppliers Need to Produce to Confirm Compliance
