Health and Safety Authority (HSA) Construction Focussed Campaign for 2 Weeks – Week Commencing Monday 7th September 2015
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) have advised the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) that they will carry out an enhanced construction focussed inspection campaign, for two weeks, commencing on 7th September 2015.
During this fortnight all inspectors will visit construction sites and it is intended that in excess of 500 visits will be completed.
As well as the normal construction related safety issues, Inspectors will have a particular focus on Occupational Health issues arising on site.
Of particular interest will be:

- Other Occupational issues such as manual handling, awareness of skin cancer issues and general.
The Authority also that they are interested in how contractors manage general health issues which include dealing with bullying.
