Laydex-Power-Station-Project-2Repair works and overlay of the turbine and bunker bay roofs were carried out by main contractor Brian Conneely & Co Ltd and sub-contractor Curry Asphalt Roofing from October last year until March 2016.

The chosen products for the works were Pluvitec underlay tech Millenium which is a pre-fabricated waterproofing membrane made of distilled bitumen and elastomeric polymers, reinforced with a woven non-woven polypropylene finish which improves the walk ability and allows for immediate coating. Also used was Pluvitec Tech 1000 and Plustec red mineral cap sheet for the walkway.
