In Ireland STS Group are just finished a large pharmaceutical project for West Pharma in Waterford. The company is also working with Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) in Cruiserath, Dublin and with Johnson & Johnson in Cork and Limerick. Data centres are a growing market in Ireland, and one with which STS has a good relationship. The company is working with three of the big data centre companies in Ireland and are also working with those people in Germany, England, France and Italy.
In Europe, the company is just finishing up a large project for multinational pharmaceutical company Sanofi in Belgium and that has led to a very large bio-pharma project for Biogen, Switzerland. This is an area of Europe the company is concentrating on as a part of their goal as an international organization.
“Expanding business into the Benelux area of Europe is part of our company wide strategy” explains CEO Eddie Walsh. “ and we are putting management and our systems in place there at the moment. This is acting as a launch pad for us to break into the Benelux region.”
In addition to STS’ broad scale of projects, specialist team in excess of 600 and its support locally and on an international level, the importance of safety is not forgotten and is one of the key priorities for the staff and management at STS Group.
The company are members of The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), The National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) and the Construction Industry Register Ireland (CIRI). STS were also awarded the Best New Entry Large Size Organisation at the 25th Annual NISO/NISG Safety Awards for 2016.

STS are extremely proud to sponsor The Pieta Challenge which saw a group of local hikers trek to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro this July. This mission allows the group to raise awareness for Mental Health in Ireland and funds for Pieta House, Preventing Suicide and Self Harm. The funds raised from this trip will go a very long way to making a positive difference to many, many people in Ireland.
