A number of years ago the Master Builders’ Association combined with other CIF building contractor associations to form the Master Builders’ and Contractors’ Association; the MBCA continues to support the Ivan Webb Scholarship.
The Scholarship is awarded to students of the Construction Technology Diploma course and the Bachelor of Science in Construction Management course, who are nominated by the Dublin Institute of Technology, Bolton Street. A “Back to Education” award is also being presented for the third year.
For 2017 the Scholarship was divided into three awards of €1,000 each, and a Gold Medal award which is awarded to the student who achieved the highest overall marks in Bachelor of Science in Construction Management (Honours) degree.
