CIF Cork Branch – Mental Health Briefing
October 26 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
CIF Construction Safety Week 2021 will be running from Monday, 25th October to Friday, 29th October and there will be a focus on a different theme each day.
CIF Cork Branch are happy to announce that we are running a free briefing for members to highlight “Mind Your Health”.
Please note that the briefing will operate under all relevant covid guidelines.
The theme for Tuesday, 26th October is “Mind Your Health” and CIF Southern Region will be focusing on mental health in the industry. With this in mind we are running a briefing for Health & Safety Officers and Site Managers to assist in recognising the signs that a colleague is struggling and how to best to assist when an issue arises.
As restrictions are lifting we felt this was the ideal time to hold our first in-person briefing since the onset of Covid and we are excited to announce that the location for the briefing is the top floor of the Counting House at the Beamish & Crawford / Event Centre site.
The briefing will last approximately 1 hour
The briefing will be hosted by Conor O’Connell, Director CIF Southern Region and we will be joined by a panel of experts in the field of mental health:-
- Ger O’Brien – ETF Practitioner & Mental Health Advocate
- The Two Norries – Timmy Long & James Leonard – Mental Health Advocates
The event is aimed primarily at Health & Safety Staff in your company but is open to all staff with an interest in the area. Please feel free to circulate information on this briefing within your own organisation and please see flyer attached for your notice board.
To book your place please contact Bríd Cody or Ronan O’Brien on [email protected] or (021) 4351410. Please ensure you state that you wish to attend the Cork briefing.
