SUMMARY:Digital Collaboration Network
DESCRIPTION:CIF’s Construction 4.0 Committee is establishing a Digital Collaboration Network to support members in the implementation of digital processes within their businesses. \nThe Network will bring together members at varying stages of digital maturity — from those beginning their digital journey to those seeking to progress to the next stage of adoption — and provide a structured forum for collaboration\, shared learning\, and practical support. \nA driver for the establishment of this Network is the introduction of the BIM mandate for Public Works\, which is continuing to cascade down through the industry and will apply to projects over €5 million from January 2027. Members who wish to compete for public works contracts are encouraged to prepare\, where applicable to their business\, to ensure readiness for compliance with this requirement. \n🔗 Reserve your place here. \nImplementing Digitalisation: Practical Guidance & Supports\nTo launch the Network\, the second of two regional events will take place in Cork on 18th June.\nThis event will provide practical\, actionable guidance and an open forum where members can gain clarity on the challenges associated with adopting digital processes.\nThe programme will focus on: \n\nFunding opportunities available to contractors undertaking digitalisation\nPractical insights into implementing digital tools and workflows within construction businesses\nPeer to peer learning\, drawing on real experiences from companies that have successfully addressed digital adoption challenges\n\nEvent details\nCork Event\nDate: 18 June 2026\nLocation: Radisson Blue\, Ditchley House\, Castleview\, Little Island\, Co. SUMMARY:CIF Annual Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:Ireland’s challenge is no longer about plans. It’s about delivery. As the country enters a decade where housing\, energy\, transport and water infrastructure must scale rapidly\, the system that plans\, funds\, enables and builds must work together with sharper coordination and unified direction. \nThe CIF Annual Conference 2026 brings that system into one room. This is a delivery‑first event focused on what Ireland aims to build between now and 2035 and what must change to make it possible. \nWith the Government’s Accelerating Infrastructure and Delivering Homes\, Building Communities plans in place\, Ireland now has a blueprint for progress. But momentum must accelerate in 2026–2027. The publication of sectoral plans is a significant step\, but pipelines need greater clarity\, bottlenecks persist\, and viability challenges are pushing top Irish construction companies to seek work across Europe. We need them building at home\, and they want to build at home. \nThis conference will examine the real pipeline across housing\, energy\, transport\, health\, education and water\, assess whether the system is set up to deliver\, and identify the reforms and practical actions needed to remove barriers\, streamline processes and get projects moving. \nSenior industry leaders\, policymakers\, utilities\, local authorities and investors will come together to address planning timelines\, procurement challenges\, utility interfaces\, financing models\, capacity constraints and infrastructure readiness. The focus is on clarity\, solutions and delivery\, not theory. \n Book your place here

SUMMARY:Construction Safety Campaign 2026
DESCRIPTION:For 2026\, the CIF Construction Safety Campaign is running over two weeks\, from 12th to 23rd October. The campaign theme of ‘Back to Basics’ will continue for 2026. More details will follow shortly. Please address any queries to: csc@cif.ie. \nAt its heart\, safety is not about new rules or complex systems. It is about leadership\, culture\, and people. Over the course of the campaign\, we are asking companies across construction to step back\, examine their safety management systems\, and\, most importantly\, talk to their teams. Honest conversations\, reflective feedback\, and an openness to listen can reveal far more than any report. Safety is lived on the ground\, and the people delivering our projects often see the risks most clearly.
