I’m an employee,
how do I take the induction?
1. You will need a smart phone, laptop or tablet
2. Click here and follow the instructions
3. The induction should take no more than 15 minutes
The CIF C-19 induction programme is designed to protect you, your family and your community whilst allowing you to work safely. Its purpose is to ensure that everyone working on a construction project understand how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace.
When you complete the induction, you will receive a digital card, on your phone, confirming that you have successfully completed the programme. You will need this to access a site so have this ready.
If asked for an invitation code, please enter: CIF-C19
Internet Explorer is not supported. Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge are all supported, as well as all mobile browsersGet a digital card Check a digital Card
Have a screenshot of your digital card with you on arrival
Show the security personnel your digital card when you arrive
Each site will have developed a Covid-19 Safe Working plan
To scan a card, open your camera app and point it at the QR code. If this doesn’t work, download a QR code scanning app. Alternatively, it is possible to check using the employees surname and the unique code on the card.
The holder of a card will present their phone with the digital card. This will have their picture, a QR code and a unique identifying number. If you are unable to scan the QR code, the card details can be checked on the portal directly.
You will need to confirm that the image shown on the digital card is in fact the employee present.
If a QR code is scanned, it will take you directly to the digital card on your device. If an employee has supplied their second name and unique code, the digital card will show once these are entered.
The CIF online C-19 induction programme is designed to protect workers and their families and communities. Work should only happen where it is safe to do so. This induction will help you work safely. If in doubt, consult your Covid-19 Compliance officer, Health and Safety Officer or site management. Informed personal responsibility is critical and we are all depending on you to adopt these guidelines and to be vigilant on site about others on site. Thank you for your commitment to your industry and community by adapting these measures.
