Springboard 2020/21 – Applications now open.

For your information, applications are now invited for many Springboard+ courses for entry Autumn 2021/early 2022.  The Springboard+ upskilling initiative in higher education offers 90%-funded courses at certificate, degree and masters level for those currently employed.  Some courses are free under the HEA’s July Stimulus.  For more details, visit: https://springboardcourses.ie/

A snapshot of funded/part-funded construction-related courses on offer include:

IT Carlow

• Postgraduate Certificate in Construction Management (Level 9 course with 10 credits) – funded by July Stimulus. Applications are made directly to IT Carlow. Fee is 90% covered so employed participants pay €90 and free for the unemployed. • Introduction to CAD and 3D Modelling (Level 6 10 credit course) – funded by July Stimulus. Applications are made Directly to IT Carlow. Course is FREE to all participants.
• Certificate in Onsite Wastewater Treatment and Construction (Level 7 course with 10 credits) – funded by Springboard – https://springboardcourses.ie/details/9099 – Applications are made directly on Springboard and fee is €100 to participants or free for unemployed
• Bachelor of Science in Energy Management – (Level 7 course with 60 credits) – Funded by Springboard – https://springboardcourses.ie/details/9533 Applications are made directly on Springboard and fee is €250 for those in employment
• Certificate in Purchasing Strategies, Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma – (Level 6 course with 60 Credits) – funded by Springboard – https://springboardcourses.ie/details/9110 – Applications are made directly on Springboard and course is FREE for all participants.
