Corporate Partner Feature: Leading HESQ platform HammerTech becomes latest Corporate Partner of the CIF

Hammertech VP of Marketing, Georgia Bergers MRICS, writes about how HammerTech’s technology is streamlining onsite safety and consistently improving safety record keeping.

HammerTech, construction’s leading safety and site operation platform, has further cemented its place on Ireland’s construction landscape, having been accepted as a Corporate Partner by the Construction Industry Federation (CIF).

The HammerTech platform digitises essential site safety processes such as inductions, RAMS, SPAs, permits, and audits – and in the process does away with the need for manual and hard-to-update paper systems. It was created by construction and technology professionals motivated to solve collaboration challenges between contractors and subcontractors and to improve visibility around safety and site operations.

The platform was developed in Australia and launched in 2015. It is ubiquitous with a gold standard for safety with 86 of the top 100 construction companies in Australia using the platform.

Earlier this year HammerTech expanded into Ireland and the UK having already started working with CIF members MJ Conroy, Vision Contracting and Monami. It is now used by more than 400 contractors on 15,000 projects worldwide – all with the mantra to make construction sites safer and more efficient.

HammerTech’s Head of Sales in Ireland and the UK, Patrick Godfrey, said the company’s mission is to make construction sites safer by providing a platform that solves today’s safety problems while laying a foundation for continuous improvement.

“We want those people who are constantly updating paper forms and filing them in a folder to have access to software that not only saves time but improves safety. It is an essential tool for contractors to collaborate and communicate with a multitude of subcontractors that are on site.

“The benefits are many but having real-time safety data analytics and detailed reports without additional effort is a favorite of our clients. This data enables teams to make better decisions based on leading and lagging trends which ultimately improves safety performance and culture.

“In the end, we want everyone that leaves home in the morning to go back home after their shift.”

HammerTech takes the time to onboard every new client. “There is not much use having a shiny new tool and not being able to use it,” says Godfrey. “For that reason, we have a comprehensive implementation program that often includes some bespoke elements around training as not every construction company is the same or has the same needs.”

Godfrey said HammerTech’s decision to apply to be a CIF Corporate Partner was an easy one. “When coming to a new country we want to not only be a trusted partner, but we want to be part of the industry as we intend to be here for a long time. We are not a set and forget company. In each market we serve, it’s important that we provide our clients with on-going support as they grow as well as and building relationships based on solving constructions unique problems.”

Meabh Smith, the Communications Director with the Federation said of HammerTech’s inclusion: “We are pleased to welcome HammerTech as our newest corporate partner due to the company’s valued reputation in delivering advanced safety software solutions. Recognising HammerTech’s focus on elevating construction safety standards, this partnership aligns with CIF’s commitment to fostering innovation and best practices within the construction industry.”

Godfrey added: “We are really excited at joining the CIF as we believe we can provide its members with a platform that provides greater visibility and accountability for a safer workplace.”
