Digital grant supports are now open to more CIF members from the Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs).
Good news for SMEs
LEOs now support businesses with 1–50 employees (not just micro firms). That brings a large cohort of CIF members into scope for practical help to boost productivity, digitise operations, and strengthen ESG/WLC data.
What’s on offer
- Lean for Business – Up to two days of one-to-one consultancy for a €50 client contribution. Focus: streamline processes, reduce waste, standardise site–office workflows, and prime teams for digital adoption.
- Digital for Business (Diagnostic and Roadmap) – Up to three days with a matched consultant (often includes a site visit). You’ll get a neutral audit of current systems, integration gaps and a vendor-agnostic roadmap before spending on software.
- Grow Digital (Implementation Grant) – 50% grant, €500–€5,000 to part-fund new, off-the-shelf software and the implementation/training recommended in your diagnostic. (Conditions: complete Digital for Business within the last two years; no upgrades to existing systems; no purchases before the Letter of Offer.)
Why it matters for construction
- Tackle common pain points: job scheduling and field updates, digital forms and photo sign-offs, CRM for tenders and client comms, document/QA control, finance integration, and basic cyber security.
- Choose tools that export structured data to support Green Public Procurement, EPBD and whole-life carbon reporting.
Eligibility and how to apply
- Typical criteria (Digital/Grow Digital): 1–50 employees, 6+ months trading, registered, solvent, operating in your local LEO area, and not current Enterprise Ireland/IDA clients.
- Next steps:
- Call your LEO Business Advisor (LocalEnterprise.ie → Find Your Local Office)
- Complete the online application
- Prepare financial statements, latest management accounts, and Tax Clearance
- Wait for the Letter of Offer before purchasing (Grow Digital)
