Heritage contractors
CIF’s Register of Heritage Contractors highlights specialist firms with the experience, knowledge and craftsmanship required to work sensitively on historic and protected structures. From conservation and restoration to traditional building techniques, registered contractors play a critical role in safeguarding Ireland’s architectural heritage for future generations.
By promoting recognised expertise and quality standards, the Register supports best practice in heritage construction and gives clients confidence that Ireland’s most important buildings are in capable hands.
The CIF celebrates the contractors committed to preserving our past while ensuring it has a sustainable future. Gillian Ross, Manager of the Register of Heritage Contractors, said: “The Heritage Register provides a list of competent contractors, both main and specialist, working in the built heritage sector. These heritage contractors are central to protecting Ireland’s historic buildings.
