to the Western and Midland Region
The Federation’s Galway office services the four branches in the Western and Midlands Region:
- Galway branch (Galway City and county)
- Donegal branch
- North West branch (Sligo, Mayo and Leitrim)
- Midlands branch (Roscommon, Longford, Laois, Offaly, Cavan and Westmeath)
Justin Molloy is the Director of Western and Midland Region and Secretary of the four branches in the Western and Midlands Region. Branches meet regularly throughout the year and details of meetings and other regional events are available from the CIF Galway office:

Support for members
The CIF Western and Midland Region offers its members a range of supports specific to the Irish construction industry:
- Networking opportunities.
- Political representation.
- Meetings with local authorities, state and semi-state agencies as well as other regional stakeholders.
- Contractual and procurement services.
- Industrial relations and human resources advice and representation.
- Planning and development supports.
- Dispute resolution and debt recovery service.
Meetings and social events
The CIF Western and Midland Region hosts regular branch meetings and industry-specific briefings where members have the opportunity to attend, network and learn from a variety of specialist guest speakers. Members also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of social events throughout the year, from gala dinners to golf outings to site visits and social evenings.
All our social events are all subsidised through the generous sponsorship by some of corporate members such as DRS Bond Management, Roadstone, Coshla Quarries and Topcon Ireland. These social events offer our members the opportunity to network with one another as well as their clients, suppliers, political representatives and local authority senior management.

CIF Western and Midland Regional Infrastructural Forum
The CIF Western & Midland Regional Infrastructural forum was established to identify and lobby for critical regional infrastructural projects in the region that are in line with the National Planning Framework (NPF) and the National Development Plan (NDP), that when constructed would significantly enhance the economic development of the region. The forum is made up of a number of regional members as well as a number of other interested regional bodies who meet throughout the year to progress the objectives of the forum.

Justin Molloy
Director, CIF Western/Midland Region
Justin Molloy is the Director for the CIF in the Western and Midland and has extensive experience of working in the construction industry. He is currently responsible for managing the four CIF Western and Midland regional branches; Galway, Donegal, North West and Midland Branches. Justin also offers expert advice and support to the members, as well as representing their interests on a number of regional committees. He regularly meets with the regional Local Authorities, State Agencies and other industry bodies to further the aims of the industry.
