INCIDENT TYPE: The deceased was a self-employed contractor working on a new self-build dwelling house for a client. He was slabbing the attic space when he fell through a gap in unsecured floor boards. He fell onto the ground floor of the house which had a vaulted ceiling space suffering head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
