Commencement of an All-Island Work at Height Campaign on Monday, 16th of February 2026
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA), in collaboration with the Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland (HSENI), the CIF and Spinal Injuries Ireland, will commence an All Island Work at Height Safety Campaign on 16th February. Contractors across the island are encouraged to fully support this initiative – both on site and across social media channels – to heighten awareness of the risks associated with working at height.
The campaign urges all organisations to actively engage with employees, contractors, subcontractors, and the wider supply chain throughout the campaign, which runs from 16th February to 1st March. In 2025, there were 11 construction related fatalities, 6 of which were caused by falls from height.
