STEM Passport for Inclusion partnership
STEM Passport for Inclusion
The STEM Passport for Inclusion (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths – STEMP) programme at Maynooth University, with the backing of the CIF, is inviting individuals from all areas of construction and engineering to volunteer as mentors and help shape the future generation. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided, ensuring mentors are well-equipped and confident throughout their involvement.
Over the next two years, the STEMP initiative will reach out to 5,000 students, focusing predominantly on those in DEIS schools, YouthReach, and lone parent programmes across Ireland. The programme’s purpose is to ensure that every student, regardless of their circumstances, finishes school equipped with STEM skills and the confidence to pursue future opportunities in STEM-related fields.
The CIF strongly encourages members to participate in this impactful initiative, which not only benefits students but also helps to shape a more diverse and inclusive industry for us all.
